Business Solutions Developer

What You'll Do: 

As a Business Solutions Developer, you will support the Retail Fundamentals team on key data products and applications used by internal teams at CTC. You will: 

  • Support the development and maintenance of Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps, Copilot assets using various data sources, with guidance from senior team members. Help ensure the resulting products improve merchant workflows and contribute to sales acceleration objectives. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business KPIs, retail operations, and supply chain needs, and translate them into clear requirements and deliverables. 
  • Build your understanding of the business implications of what you’re developing by asking thoughtful questions, documenting decisions, and communicating clearly with developers and stakeholders. 
  • Help monitor key SKUs and reports and support internal teams in understanding insights and taking action, escalating issues and opportunities as needed.
  • Collaborate across the Network Performance team to drive adoption and deliver benefits from the team's analytics.
  • Support merchant teams with data-driven reports and tools to drive CTC efficiencies and sales. 
  • Actively engage with data and BI teams to continuously improve this team’s capabilities. 
  • Maintain effective communication and feedback loops with stakeholders; support project tracking and timelines through completion with guidance from senior team members. 

 

What You Bring: 

  • Foundational to intermediate experience with Power BI (or Fabric), Power Apps, Power Automate and/or Copilot Studio. You can build basic solutions and are eager to deepen your skills. 
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Snowflake is an asset. 
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps and/or Python is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the retail industry is an asset in any of the following areas: sales support, operations, supply chain. 
  • You communicate clearly and collaborate well. You can explain what you built, what you learned, and what you need from others. You’re comfortable sharing updates with business partners and learning how to translate data into a simple story. 
  • You’re interested in retail analytics and excited to learn how the business operates. Any exposure to retail, merchandising, operations, or supply chain is helpful, but curiosity and a learning mindset are most important. 
  • You have a growth mindset and take initiative to learn new technology. You’re open to feedback and willing to improve how you work as you gain experience. 
  • You bring positive energy and can work well with others in a team environment. 
  • You’re comfortable working with multiple partners and know when to ask for help, align on expectations, and escalate risks early.

Our typical hiring range is between $53,000 and $88,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
