Job Summary
The Business Relationship Officer - FF&L is responsible for managing the daily transactional flow of new business volume from across multiple equipment finance channels. Contributes to and helps facilitate strategic initiatives including but not limited to the onboarding of new client relationships, business development support, intermediary between Executive Sales Manager/Executive Sales Officers & Operations, Credit, and Vendor/Dealer personnel and departments. Oversight of the overall client and partner experience.
Job Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitates the documentation and funding referral process between Sales Channels and Contract Management to ensure client satisfaction on a consistent basis.
- Serves as the liaison between Executive Sales Officers (ESO) and Contract Management to help streamline all funding and ensure that vendor specific guidelines are being adhered to.
- Oversees the onboarding of new client relationships
- Helps establish and implement new business processes and procedures that help increase market competitiveness and field efficiencies.
- Assists sales with ad hoc pricing, application submittal or other critical business initiates such as subordination/intercreditor requests, UCC pulls and searches, calling lists, and MTRs.
- Pulls and prepares monthly and quarterly reporting. Performs other administrative, supervisory functions and tactical roles as directed by manager.
- Responds to client initiated service related inquires in a timely manner.
- Assists with testing and documenting new enterprise systems if and when available.
- No direct reports to start. However, may eventually need to perform supervisory functions at the direction of the Manager.
- Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions.
- Analyzes and resolves problems.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
- Minimum experience required: 5 years prior banking or finance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a commercial and/or dealer lending environment.

- Self-starter, advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint competencies, desire to learn all aspects of Equipment Finance and grow within the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with superior analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast paced, start-up environment where asked to step into multiple roles in an effort to support the growth the growth of the business
- Detail oriented, organized and self motivated.
- Must have the ability to effectively multi-task and utilize several systems required to perform daily tasks.
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights. Aligns relationship building efforts with enterprise goals to accelerate performance and drive strategic results.
