HPS is driving multiple Business models, improving and adjusting the way we operate to ensure we meet our customer expectations within the services and software domains. We are seeking for a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer to help us in the financial space. The primary role of the Process Engineer is to drive operational efficiency and process optimization in our current exeuction processes ensuring the financial data arrives properly to our books. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and improving business processes to ensure they align with the organization’s strategic objectives. The Process Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement new processes that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and support the overall transformation strategy.

The ideal candidate will have strong process design and optimization experience with good technical acumen, is a change management expert with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and is a great collaborator and communicator.

This critical role will report to the Business architecture and optimization Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Create and maintain a process roadmap aligned with transformation strategies. Prioritize process improvements with senior leadership.
  • Process Analysis and Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and design workflows to boost productivity, cut costs, and align with transformation goals.
  • Process Design and Implementation: Work with teams to create and implement new processes, ensuring seamless integration with minimal disruption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure process designs meet operational needs across business units and IT.
  • Process Mapping and Documentation: Create clear process maps and SOPs for current and future workflows, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Change Management Support: Work with the MoC team to support adoption of new processes, providing training and monitoring progress for necessary adjustments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to drive improvements, tracking KPIs to measure success and recommend enhancements.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identify risks and ensure process compliance with industry standards, legal, and governance policies.
  • Technology and Automation: Collaborate with IT to implement automation solutions that enhance efficiency and process optimization.
  • Implementation Support: Guide process improvements, ensuring alignment with goals. Monitor progress and adherence to standards.
  • Governance and Compliance: Enforce governance policies and standards. Ensure compliance with regulations and implement continuous improvement practices.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Coach process owners, track impact, and measure outcomes with KPIs.
  • Managing escalations ensuring we have an accountable owner, fixing the challenge while we document requirements

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in process analysis and improvement, business process optimization, operational improvement, preferably within transformation programs.
  • Certification in process improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Kaizen, process mining
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful process improvements.
  • Experience on services transformation operations is desirable

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong understanding of business process modeling, analysis, and design techniques.
  • Strong data analysis and process mapping skills.
  • Proficiency with process modeling tools and software (e.g., BPM, ARIS, Visio).
  • Passion for solving customer problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and evidence to support decisions and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and processes clearly and concisely.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at different levels and across different functions in a diverse environment.
  • High adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
