As a Business Process Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Service Stream’s enterprise wide ERP Modernisation Program (Project Apollo) — implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud across Finance, Procurement, Projects, Service Management, and Warehouse Operations.
This 12-month fixed term contract opportunity (hybrid, with three days in the office) is ideal for experienced analysts who excel in end to end process analysis, SAP aligned business design, and cross functional stakeholder engagement within complex enterprise environments.
You’ll join a collaborative team within our Corporate Finance business unit, contributing to the successful delivery of a major national transformation and supporting the transition into long term BAU optimisation post go live.
- Analyse end‑to‑end Field‑to‑Finance business processes to ensure alignment between operational activities and financial outcomes.
- Work across Finance, Projects, Procurement, Service Management and Warehouse Operations to elicit, document and validate functional business requirements.
- Assess and interpret complex service contracts and project structures, ensuring they are accurately represented within SAP Finance and Project System modules.
- Review business contracts and map them to standardised SAP end‑to‑end processes; identify and prepare high‑quality golden test data for multiple testing scenarios.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, architects and the System Integrator (SI) to shape future‑state process design and support configuration decisions.
- Analyse and document various billing scenarios — including milestone‑based and resource‑related billing — ensuring alignment with SAP best‑practice billing processes.
- Develop future‑state (“to‑be”) processes in SAP Signavio using SAP best‑practice models and tailoring them to Service Stream’s operational environment.
- Identify gaps between current practices and industry‑leading standards, recommending optimisation or automation opportunities where appropriate.
- Maintain high‑quality, traceable documentation across process flows, business requirements, testing artefacts and handover materials.
- Define System Integration Testing (SIT) scenarios, data conditions and expected outcomes across upstream and downstream applications.
- Support SIT, UAT and regression test cycles — designing test cases, preparing data, validating configuration and supporting defect triage activities.
- Assist with validating configuration, integrations and enhancements across Finance, Projects, Procurement, Service Management and Warehouse Management.
Skills and Experience
Required
- 5+ years’ business analysis experience, ideally within SAP transformation programs.
- Experience supporting enterprise ERP implementations and/or major system integrations.
- Strong ability to diagnose business and system issues, producing clear and audit‑ready documentation.
- Comprehensive end‑to‑end process knowledge across Finance, Projects, Procurement, Service, and Warehouse Management.
- Hands‑on SAP ECC/S/4HANA experience, including working knowledge of FI/CO, PS and MM (plus Service and Warehouse Management).
- Experience analysing service contracts and converting requirements into SAP‑aligned processes, configuration, billing, and reporting outcomes.
- Solid understanding of milestone‑based and resource‑related billing scenarios.
- Integration experience, including defining end‑to‑end scenarios, touchpoints, and data dependencies across SAP and external systems.
- Exposure to data management activities such as cleansing, mass uploads, validation, and reconciliation.
- Proficient in process mapping tools (Signavio, ARIS, or Visio) and skilled in designing/executing SIT and UAT test cycles.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops across business and IT teams.
Desirable
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and clean‑core principles.
- Exposure to SAP Service Management, EAM, Procurement of Services, and Warehouse Management.
- Experience working with SAP Activate (or similar frameworks) on large transformation programs.
