A Business Process Analyst II job is available with the City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department. We are seeking a collaborative, adaptable, and detail‑oriented Business Process Analyst II – ActiveNet Administrator to serve as the department’s primary system administrator and business owner for ActiveNet, the City’s recreation management platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning complex systems, supporting others, and improving processes. The ActiveNet Administrator plays a critical support and implementation role—helping the department accomplish its goals by configuring, maintaining, and improving systems within established policies, controls, and financial requirements.

The successful candidate will work across diverse teams, balance competing priorities, and act as a trusted partner to operations staff, finance, IT, leadership, and external vendors.

 Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field and four (4) years of business experience and business analysis experience.
  • Valid Texas driver's license

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with ActiveNet or similar recreation management software
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems with financial components
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills; Power BI experience preferred
  • Experience providing system training and documentation
  • Experience working with finance, accounting, or ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft)

The Business Process Analyst II job responsibilities include: 

  • Serve as the department’s system administrator and business owner for ActiveNet, managing configuration and daily use of all modules including programs, memberships, facilities, reservations, POS, and customer interfaces.
  • Administer system users, roles, and permissions; ensure accurate cash handling workflows, permit approvals, account balances, and system access controls.
  • Act as primary support for internal staff; troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with the Active Network vendor and City IT as needed.
  • Perform business and operational analysis using system data to support effective utilization, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Configure and maintain related interfaces and tools, including ActiveNet HUB dashboards, CMS, digital signage, Team Sideline, and other integrated applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver standard and ad-hoc reports using ActiveNet tools and Microsoft Office (and related query/reporting tools as needed).
  • Provide system training, documentation, and guidance for new, seasonal, and experienced staff to ensure consistent and correct system usage.
  • Ensure data quality, system integrity, and compliance through regular audits, account maintenance, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Support internal and external audits by responding to findings and maintaining documented procedures and controls.
  • Administer and support complementary systems such as ePACT, Healthy Contributions, and Tivity Health.
  • Serve as technical liaison between Park & Recreation, Finance, IT, other City departments, and external vendors.
  • Assist with financial processes including reconciliations, chargebacks, refunds, and write-offs in coordination with Financial Management Services and PARD Sr. Accountant.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to online registration, accounts, and system use; route program-specific or policy questions appropriately.
  • Perform other related duties in support of departmental operations and comply with all City attendance, personnel, and conduct policies.
