Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Business Process Analyst (Associate or Experienced) for the Design Center in Houston, TX, which is a multi-function Engineering Organization with a mission statement to provide engineering solutions via a highly skilled flexible workforce and cutting-edge technologies for the advancement of the Boeing Enterprise. The Design Center provides engineering support to Enterprise-wide projects/programs and is a flexible team that strategically adapts to emerging opportunities.

The new Business Process Analyst will be a part of the Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems Design Centers that provides enterprise-wide expertise for aerospace design and analysis. The Design Centers support both Boeing Commercial Aircraft (BCA) and Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS), primarily in the area of Structural and Mechanical Design and Stress Analysis. This position is based in the Houston Design Center and supports the Engineering leadership across sites in Houston, TX, Huntsville, AL, and Titusville, FL for financial, resource, and milestones tracking. Works under oversight.

Successful candidates need to be self-starters, strong collaborators, and exhibit strong communication skills.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate resource management reviews, recording and communicating actions

  • Resource allocation and capacity reporting

  • Maintain files for finance reporting and charging guidance

  • Maintain new employee onboarding processes

  • Onboard new teammates to organization

  • Support efforts to eliminate and/or consolidate process documentation.

  • Provide feedback on resource management tools for implementation by developer

  • Establish tracking methods, as needed, or work with tool developers for more complex tracking

  • Works with oversight.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a supporting role in an engineering environment

  • 1+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working government funded contracts

  • Experience supporting senior leadership in an aerospace or aircraft products environment

  • Experience supporting a large team (200+)

  • Experience working with mechanical structural engineering teams

  • Competent with Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

  • Coding experience

  • Demonstrates knowledge of general database concepts.

Summary Pay Range (Associate): $75,650– $102,350

Summary Pay Range (Experienced): $90,950 - $123,050
