Job Title
Business Process & AI Integration Advisor
About your role:
The Business Process & AI Integration Advisor plays a critical role in a newly formed team responsible for evaluating and modernizing business processes that support software implementation teams delivering enterprise banking products. This individual will assess existing processes—many of which are mature, deeply ingrained, and highly manual—and identify opportunities to optimize, automate, or transform them through artificial intelligence, including conversational AI, agents, chatbots, and workflow automation. This role acts as a trusted advisor to delivery teams, business stakeholders, and technical leaders by bringing a structured, analytical approach to process improvement combined with a strategic understanding of AI capabilities. The Advisor will help ensure that process changes not only drive efficiency and accuracy but also align with organizational goals and elevate the end to end client implementation experience.
What you'll do:
- Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Review & Optimization
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing processes used by software implementation teams for banking related products.
- Map current state workflows (people, tools, dependencies, documentation, data inputs/outputs).
- Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, bottlenecks, and high effort tasks that are strong candidates for AI augmentation or automation.
- Evaluate process maturity and readiness for modernization.
- Translate complex operational challenges into clear problem statements and improvement recommendations.
- AI Opportunity Identification & Advisory
- Assess where conversational AI, copilots/agents, chatbots, or automated workflows can improve productivity, reduce manual effort, and enhance client delivery.
- Recommend use cases for AI integration—ranging from knowledge retrieval and task automation to guided workflows and predictive insights.
- Partner with technical AI teams (including platform owners such as AItrium, internal automation COEs, and Copilot enablement teams) to validate feasibility and shape technical direction.
- Serve as a bridge between business operations and AI/technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Change Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Present findings and recommendations to leaders in Delivery, Product, and Operations.
- Collaborate closely with implementation managers, SMEs, and process owners to secure alignment and prioritization.
- Help guide teams through the transition from manual/mature workflows to AI enhanced processes.
- Create clear documentation (process maps, proposals, value assessments, training materials).
- Assist in building a culture of AI adoption by proactively showcasing benefits, risks, and value.
- Continuous Improvement & Measurement
- Define success metrics, KPIs, and ROI expectations for redesigned processes.
- Monitor implemented solutions to ensure they produce measurable business impact.
- Continuously scan for new AI capabilities that can be incorporated into the delivery lifecycle.
- Success Criteria for This Role
- Within the first year, a successful Advisor will:
- Stand up a repeatable process review methodology for the new AI Integration team.
- Deliver actionable recommendations that reduce effort, accelerate delivery, or improve quality within implementation workflows.
- Identify high value AI use cases and partner with technical teams to validate and pilot them.
- Build strong credibility with delivery teams and become a go to strategic resource.
- Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.
