What a Business Planning Manager does at HP:
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyse business performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Develop insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
Structure complex datasets into clear, actionable business narratives.
Analytics, Reporting & AI Enablement
Develop and maintain analytical frameworks, reports, and insight tools (including AI-driven reporting where applicable).
Translate data into meaningful insights through a combination of visualisation, modelling, and storytelling.
Continuously enhance reporting approaches using automation and emerging technologies.
Automation & Efficiency
Drive automation of data collection, transformation, and reporting processes.
Develop scalable tools and frameworks to improve productivity and reduce manual work.
Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and analytics to streamline workflows.
Business Partnering
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (GTM, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain).
Gather, document, and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
Support feasibility analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance business performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Business Management, Finance, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
Familiarity with data analytics, automation, or AI-driven reporting tools is an advantage.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.

Strong data interpretation and storytelling capability.
Curiosity and interest in automation, analytics, and AI applications.
