Scope of Position 

The Student Intern is a member of the James Business Operations team, which supports the business functions of the clinical operations in the James cancer hospital. 

Position Summary 

Under direct supervision, the Student Intern will assist with providing data analysis, operational studies, and data management for the James Clinical Enterprise (patient care service areas).  The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: data collection, completing data analysis, developing reports in various reporting systems, managing statistical spreadsheets and databases, maintaining financial tracking reports, and participating in various on-going business operations projects.  

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire: Currently enrolled in college (undergraduate or graduate coursework) in Business, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, and related major is preferred.  Strong analytical and skill in MS office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point are required.
