The Position

We are seeking experienced, motivated professionals to join our Information Technology group in Prague. As part of our IT Prague Tech Center, you will help develop and apply advanced capabilities in information sciences, information security, mobility, social media, and big data. You will work with regional and global teams to address key opportunities and challenges at the intersection of healthcare, information, and technology. In this role, you will deliver value-added services primarily to the Business Operations team and its stakeholders. You will manage and support IT Business Operations and financial management workloads in line with internal governance and corporate policies.


What will you do?

  • Manage capitalization, depreciation, amortization, and intercompany chargebacks.
  • Oversee the SAP project lifecycle: creation, approvals, maintenance, and closure.
  • Monitor compliance with financial policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Prepare COE financial data inputs for accruals/ JV’s data preparation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate waste (time/cost).
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports and insights for financial management.
  • Perform, adopt, and adjust processes supporting IT cost management and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with senior business executives and IT peers regionally and globally.
  • Build strong partnerships with IT leaders, IT Business Owners, IT Finance, and the Fixed Assets team.
  • Manage communications and change management activities.
  • Partner with peers in other business areas to identify and share best practices.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

  • MSc, BSc, or equivalent degree in Economics, Accounting, or Business Management
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • A self-starting mindset; able to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver effective user training
  • Flexibility to collaborate globally in a matrix organization across time zones (Asia Pacific, Europe, and the US)
  • Passion for continuous improvement and proactive problem solving
  • Ability to work well in a team and build relationships with IT functions to drive cost control, expense reduction, and optimization of financial resources
  • Strong decision-making capability and confidence engaging senior executives and stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency with SAP Financial systems and solid finance/accounting acumen
  • Foundational knowledge of capitalization, forecasting, reporting, and project/portfolio accounting
