Business Operations Manager (Sub-contract))

Job Description:

Objectives:

To provide strategic, operational, and executive support to ACR Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, ensuring effective implementation of country strategy, sustainability, public affairs, and corporate governance.

To lead the deployment and execution of cooperation projects in Vietnam and cooperation extension as sales campaign enabler, contributing to the reinforcement of Airbus footprint and achievement of country’s business objectives. 
 

Responsibilities:

Assistant to ACR & Operations Management

Strategic & Operational Support

  • Support the implementation of the country strategy in line with Airbus' global, regional, and country objectives.

  • Coordinate and monitor key management and reporting processes to ensure the Vietnam Country Office is aligned with corporate requirements and timelines.

Sustainability, Public Affairs & External Engagement

  • Participate and lead the rollout of country-level sustainability and GSD community programmes in collaboration with Airbus Central and under the leadership of the regional teams.

  • Participate and support the planning and delivery of Airbus' external public affairs agenda.

Administrative Management

  • Support ACR in the preparation of briefings, presentations, and reports for senior-level meetings, official visits, and external stakeholders.

  • Manage ACR’s calendar, travel arrangements, and expense reimbursements with confidentiality and efficiency.

  • Organise internal and external meetings, including scheduling, documentation, minute-taking, action tracking, and timely dissemination of outcomes.

  • Liaise with the Board of Directors and facilitate Director-level issues as required.

Office & Event Management

  • Plan and coordinate official visits, VIP events, and external engagements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Coordinate business activities and establish effective communication channels across divisions and support functions.

  • Support the execution of internal communications and employee engagement initiatives, fostering a strong organisational culture.

  • Ensure accurate document filing and coordination with the Office Administrative Manager for timely reporting and compliance.

 

International Cooperation

In coordination with International Cooperation & Offset (IC&O) team in Asia-Pacific and Central 

  • Contribute to develop and to implement the country business development strategies with the country ACR and in alignment with Airbus’ global strategy.

  • Drive strategic relationships with relevant companies to further develop Airbus’ footprint in the country, to advance Airbus’ market positioning and grow business operations, while ensuring one Voice access for key stakeholders, for the 3 businesses in the country.

Support ACR Vietnam on other related corporate activities and responsibilities, as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in leading cooperation / partnerships

  • Demonstrated ability and experience working with governments

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering impactful community projects

  • Strong ability to structure and conduct market analyses, including experience with scenario analysis 

  • Exceptional organisational skills with a detail-oriented approach to project management and execution

  • Ability to operate with urgency and manage multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments

  • Ability to work across divisions and functions

  • Highly self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Excellent command of English oral and written communication skills

  • Background in sustainability, supported by experience and/or an advanced degree or formal training in the field, is considered an asset

  • Strong interpersonal and execution skills, with a proactive mindset and a clear drive to deliver value to the business 

  • Commercially-minded, highly analytical and structured, while possessing a global perspective and innovative problem solving capabilities 

  • Demonstrated ability to work in remote / matrix teams, and to navigate and succeed in matrix organisations

  • Agility, determination and ability to manage and thrive in ambiguity; courage to exercise duty to innovate and make improvements

  • Excellent presentation and communications skills, with ability to build relationships with Airbus global management, government, and other key external stakeholders.
