Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Engineering Business Operations team is seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Core Manager (level K) to join our team in Everett, Washington!

The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing employees and overseeing business management activities. This individual will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence both within the BCA Engineering Business Operations team and across the broader Business Operations

organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Ensures work statement compliance. Ensures consistent management system processes and tools are used.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, and/or related disciplines
  • This manager position requires you to have a minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • Experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • Experience leading project management processes or continuous improvement
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
  • Experience in demonstrated leadership and the building of a positive and inclusive team culture with a focus on performance and employee development

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience implementing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Experience managing projects and using standard project management tools
  • Experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects
  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels

Summary pay range: $122,670 – $140,060
