Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Business Operations Manager (Level K) to join the Manufacturing & Safety Business Operations Team located in Everett, WA.

In this high visibility role, successful candidates help drive business planning and execution of the Manufacturing and Safety portfolio. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with senior executives, lead a team of highly capable business operations specialists, and learn and influence the BCA Manufacturing production systems.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Ensures work statement compliance. Ensures consistent management system processes and tools are used.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in Business Operations, or Finance related or planning related field

  • 5+ years of experience leading project management processes, continuous improvement,

  • and tool development activities

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e., customers, suppliers, peers, and/or partners)

  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership and the building of a positive and inclusive team culture with a focus on performance and employee development

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Experience leading teams in dynamic settings with diverse statement of work and multiple priorities

  • Experience with process and digital tool development and a high comfort level with data, data systems, and analysis

  • Experience implementing PMBP

  • Experience leading project management processes, continuous improvement, and tool development activities

  • Experience managing projects and using standard project management tools

  • Experience teaching and mentoring

  • Exceptional communication skills at all levels

Summary Pay Range:

$120,000 - $132,000
