Business Operations & Enablement Manager
THE COMPANY AND THE ROLE
NephroCare, a company within the Fresenius Medical Care Group, is a leading provider of services for the treatment of renal failure. It operates across 8 regions in Italy with a strong network of dialysis centers (currently 55) and provides care to approximately 2,800 chronic dialysis patients.
THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a Business Operations & Enablement Manager.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the selected candidate will lead operational activities across Facility Management, Revenue Cycle, and Operational Excellence, ensuring alignment with CDI corporate priorities, continuous process improvement, and optimization of clinic performance.
The position will be based in Naples, with the possibility of remote (smart) working.
The role offers a permanent employment contract, with a probationary period in accordance with level and applicable contract (CCNL Commercio).
KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of approximately 7 people and support Area Managers in the implementation of operational strategies.
- Coordinate the national rollout of corporate initiatives, governance tools, performance frameworks, and operational standards.
- Align Facility, Revenue Cycle, and Operational Excellence activities with Area Managers to improve clinic performance.
- Define and monitor national standards for contracts, supply chain, workload management, and revenue cycle processes.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and SG&A efficiency.
- Build strong partnerships with senior leadership, local stakeholders, and external partners.
- Promote harmonization, digitalization, and a culture of continuous improvement within CDI Italy.
- Provide operational support in budget planning, resource allocation, and capacity utilization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Healthcare Management, or related fields. Postgraduate studies (MBA/Executive Education) are considered a plus.
- At least 7–10 years of experience in operations, consulting, or financial planning and analysis within the healthcare sector or related industries.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA region for approximately 30% of the time.
- Proven experience in the dialysis market and in clinic operations.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial and operational acumen.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement frameworks is desirable.
