You will support Private Markets by contributing towards strategy development and implementation, to draw up, implement, guarantee and monitor internal business processes and acts as a linking pin for other business units so as to enable effective and efficient operation. The team:
The Private Markets team is part of the Financial Institutions sector team and is covering the main private markets areas of private equity and infrastructure sponsors as well as real asset managers of banks, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and other alternative capital providers on a global basis Our primary responsibility is to manage these relationships, coordinating across products and geographies to explore and maximise cross-buy opportunities.
Roles and responsibilities:
Strategy & executive support
Support Private Markets management in developing and executing business strategy
Translate strategic priorities into clear plans, actions, and deliverables
Prepare high‑quality analysis, briefings, and presentations for executive and external stakeholders
Business performance & financial oversight
Develop and maintain management information (MI), performance metrics
Coordinate planning, rolling forecasts, and budget processes
Ensure senior leaders have clear visibility of business performance and risks
Governance & regulatory support
Support the regulatory agenda, including preparation of materials for regulators.
Coordinate papers and inputs for management committees and governance meetings
Support the development of the Private Market Risk Appetite Statement
Cross‑organisation coordination
Act as a linking pin between Private Markets and other Sectors / products relevant to the area
Support the establishment of the Private Markets MT set up
Support the delivery of bank‑wide and branch‑level initiatives
Continuous improvement & change
Identify opportunities to improve processes, governance, and ways of working
Contribute to change initiatives by combining business insight, structure, and delivery discipline
Communication & stakeholder management
Coordinate and shape senior management messaging for internal and external audiences
Build strong relationships with senior leaders, business heads, and key partners
Navigate complex stakeholder environments with discretion and professionalism
