The Land and Air Defense (LADS) team at Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) Product Area as the Kuwait National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) Business Manager (M4).

The flagship product within the MRAD portfolio is the NASAMS system that is built in partnership with KONGSBERG. The system includes a Raytheon built Sentinel Radar, a KONGSBERG Fire Distribution Center and a Launcher that uses both KONGSBERG and Raytheon components. NASAMS customers represent 15 countries around the world and the long-range financial plan contains multiple domestic and international capture opportunities.

The position, which will report to the Senior Business Manager for FMS NASAMS programs, will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven finance professional. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Kuwait NASAMS Program Office, Integrated Product Teams, and Functional leaders on key business decisions, will drive program financial management and controls, and will provide financial guidance and solutions to meet program needs.

In this fast-paced environment, the selected candidate must be able to deliver expected results under demanding deadlines and constraints, excel at multi-tasking, be an effective and influential communicator with all levels of the organization, be a leader and developer of teams, and bring innovative ideas to solve the toughest and most complex challenges facing the program.

This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity with onsite work in Andover, MA. Preferred candidates will be located within a commutable distance to MA. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

What You Will Do

  • Be a trusted business partner with all internal and external program stakeholders to drive excellence in financial strategy and execution

  • Brief senior program and functional product line leaders on program and capture execution status displaying exceptional financial and business acumen

  • Lead the management, development, mentorship, and recruitment of a diverse, talented, and geographically dispersed program finance team

  • Lead and oversee development and analysis of key financial data and metrics that will aid sound business decision making; this includes earned value cost and schedule metrics, estimates at complete, long range and annual operational planning, new business and capital investment analysis, and manpower planning

  • Ability to ensure adequate financial controls that provide a balance between finance goals and operational goals

  • Monthly Forecasting (Bookings, Sales, Profit, Cash)

  • Support NASAMS Proposal activities

What You Will Learn

  • Overall experience in bidding and negotiating FMS contracts (UCAs and Definitized contracts)

  • Executing large complex FMS contracts

  • People Leader skills

  • Shaping, negotiating, and executing Performance Based Payment (PBP) plans

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field & 8 years finance experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5 years finance experience

  • Experience leading teams & interfacing with senior level management and/or customers, including formal presentations

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and/or Estimates At Complete (EAC)

  • Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, systems, and processes

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with proposal, capture, and/or negotiation

  • Experience with Production and/or Operations financial management

  • Knowledge of Undefinitized Contract Awards and the process for Definitization

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Power Point

  • Ability to interpret and apply financial policies and procedures as well as use influential and professional communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and be able to lead and support dynamic and unique teams

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
