We are looking for a Business Manager for our Headsets category, to take commercial responsibility for selected headset products and innovation initiatives, with a focus on new product development and lifecycle optimization of in-market products. You can see where the market is heading and translate trends and customer insights into concrete commercial requirements and product opportunities. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business and bring market, customer, and financial perspectives into product and business decisions.
Based at our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join a small team that is end‑to‑end commercially responsible for one of the largest business units at GN Store Nord. How You’ll Contribute
New Product Development
Own the commercial track in select NPD projects for our headset category.
Assess market attractiveness and customer needs and translate them into clear commercial requirements.
Build robust business cases and opportunity assessments, including pricing, go-to-market proposals, and financial projections, highlighting the commercial and portfolio consequences of different options.
Present and align commercial input and recommendations with relevant stakeholders and represent the commercial perspective in cross-functional project teams from scoping to launch.
Lifecycle & portfolio management
Take commercial responsibility for the in-market headset portfolio.
Recommend commercially sound changes to the in-market portfolio (e.g. costdowns, product/variant adjustments, and key price or spec changes) that strengthen performance and reduce complexity.
Monitor product performance and portfolio complexity, identify improvements, and execute initiatives that enhance profitability and streamline operations.
Travel in this role is minimal.
To thrive in the role, we imagine that you:
min. 5 years of experience within a similar role, such as commercial excellence, business management, product management, sales excellence, or management consulting.
Have a strategic mindset and can connect market and customer trends to commercial implications and requirements for our future business.
Excel in developing business cases and conducting business opportunity assessments, including financial analyses.
Possess well-developed commercial insights along with analytical skills and a data-driven perspective
Are a true team-player that can work with stakeholders across the organization.
Are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in written and spoken English.
