How you’ll make an impact

As a Business Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the execution of FCC’s strategy by working closely with a Vice-President and their divisional or area leadership team. You’ll provide analysis, advice and coordination to ensure priorities are aligned, initiatives are progressing and leadership is well supported in decision-making.

You’ll act as a trusted partner and connector – helping manage complex requests, preparing leadership for key engagements and supporting enterprise initiatives that enhance customer and employee experience.

What you’ll do

  • Support the execution of FCC’s strategy in partnership with a Vice-President and their leadership team

  • Review, analyze and summarize critical and high-priority items, providing clear recommendations

  • Provide guidance and direction to internal partners on behalf of the Vice-President’s office

  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, meeting agendas and communications for leadership

  • Support planning, monitoring and tracking of divisional or area initiatives and objectives

  • Participate in enterprise committees and attend meetings on behalf of leadership when required

  • Build strong relationships with internal partners to support projects and improve customer and employee experience

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related field

  • A minimum of five years of related experience supporting business operations or strategic initiatives at an enterprise level (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Experience supporting senior leaders and working with leadership teams in a decision-support or advisory capacity

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial and operational information and provide practical recommendations that support decision-making

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and work collaboratively across an organization

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in strategy execution, planning or change management initiatives

  • Experience supporting executive-level governance, committees or enterprise initiatives

  • Exposure to communications or process improvement initiatives
