The Business Intelligence Lead is a high-impact individual contributor supporting our member-facing provider finder tool. The provider finder is one of the most critical touchpoints in the member experience and you will ensure product has the data, metrics, and insights needed to improve it. You will be the embedded analytics partner supporting a digital product team by turning raw search data into clear direction. You will independently lead the full analytics life cycle for this product and be in direct partnership with product leadership.
Responsibilities
You should be able to collect, integrate, analyze, and present provider finder data in order to create insightful and actionable feedback on the member search experience through:
Identifying new value creation opportunities for the customer and business through understanding key pain points, zero-results patterns, experience & retention outcomes, funnel drop-off metrics, and provider selection outcomes
Defining key metrics for provider finder reporting, establishing baselines, bringing insights, measuring progress driven by product initiatives, and connecting to business impact
Building and maintaining data products, including Power BI dashboards to support product managers focused on search relevance, member experience, and directory useability
Analyzing search behavior across key dimensions to surface friction points and unmet member needs to inform the product roadmap
Presenting complex analysis with a clear and confident point of view and engaging senior leaders in strategic conversation about product direction
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business intelligence, product analytics, or a related function within a consumer-facing product organization
Advanced proficiency in PowerBI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design for product and executive audiences
Strong SQL skills with demonstrated experience querying and structuring web behavioral data
Experience working with URL-based or clickstream data such as query strings, session logs or UTM paramaters
Experience defining product metrics, establishing baselines, and measuring initiative impact end-to-end
Experience supporting A/B testing and experimentation reporting, including familiarity with statistical significance and lift analysis
Operate autonomously as an individual contributor, owning prioritization, stakeholder relationships and delivery without direct reports
Storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for product and business audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Experience working in healthcare or a member-facing digital health product
Familiarity with search and discovery analytics including zero-result rate analysis, query classification, or relevance scoring
Experience with Python
Experience with Azure Databricks
Prior experience building BI reporting from the ground up in a scaling or modernizing product environment

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
