Responsibilities include:
Design, build, and optimize complex SQL queries, data models, and transformations to support scalable analytics infrastructure
Develop and maintain dashboards, workbooks, and reporting tools for internal teams and external clients using enterprise BI platforms
Manage and support data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline processes across the analytics stack, ensuring data accuracy and reliability
Partner cross-functionally with Strategy, Finance, Sales, Field Operations, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions
Diagnose and resolve reporting discrepancies, data quality issues, and pipeline failures to minimize disruption to business operations
Apply advanced analytics techniques, including statistical modeling, predictive analysis, and experimentation, to generate actionable business insights
Maintain documentation, version control, and data governance standards to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability
Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics engineering standards, tools, and processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field preferred
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or a closely related role preferred
Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data modeling, and transformation, with strong knowledge of analytics engineering best practices including data quality, scalability, documentation, and validation
Proficiency with modern data stack tools including Snowflake, DBT, ETL/ELT platforms (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch), BI visualization tools (primarily Sigma Computing; familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sisense), and working knowledge of version control systems (Git-based platforms)
Familiarity with AI tools and workflows to accelerate development and improve efficiency, with exposure to AWS, Airflow, Python, and predictive analytics considered a plus
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail and disciplined validation habits to ensure accuracy and reliability of outputs
Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, compelling visual narratives and communicate effectively—both written and verbally—with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership
Self-motivated and collaborative professional capable of managing multiple concurrent projects, context-switching without loss of quality, actively seeking feedback, and driving continuous improvement
