Working in the Personal and Private Core Banking Credit Risk & Analytics team, this role will provide accurate management information and reporting for key internal stakeholders or external clients as well as assist in developing Power BI Dashboards.
The BI team is the central point of contact for running business wide data reporting, analysis and development of Power BI Dashboards throughout the Credit Lifecycle.
Being a deep dive analytical role, the BI Analyst II role would suit an individual with a passion for all things data, an excellent eye for detail and analytical skills.
Are you someone who can:
Work closely with other BI Analysts and the BI Manager to deliver high quality and trusted BI reporting and analysis that inform real improvements and decision making across the business
Use Business Intelligence tools (Power BI), for data exploration, visualisation and analysis
Distribute regular business reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) as well as attending ad-hoc requests
Create Power BI Dashboards
Participation in various projects and ad-hoc requirements
Work closely with all areas of the business to understand, document and provide business intelligence solutions
Support other BI Analysts in improving data quality and structures
Extract and manipulate different raw data sets to provide user friendly reporting
Document BI reporting processes
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
Have relevant experience working on data platforms or business intelligence solutions (Power BI preferably)
Have 4+ years of relevant experience
Have skills for large and multiple data set manipulation & reporting
Have SAS & SQL knowledge
Have AbInitio experience (Nice to have)
Have Power Platform experience (Nice to have)
Have statistically astute and highly analytical, creative and critical thinking
Have excellent attention to detail, working to a high level of accuracy
Have good organisation and time management skills
Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
