Position Summary
You will lead business insights for our Australia commercial teams. You will turn data into clear guidance that supports planning, performance and growth. You will work closely with commercial leaders, marketing, finance and analytics peers. We value curiosity, clear communication and a practical problem-solving approach. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Develop and maintain forecasting and demand planning models to support commercial planning and monthly cycles.
- Create and manage KPI dashboards and regular performance reports for brand, marketing and sales stakeholders.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Partner with marketing and commercial teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimise channel mix.
- Lead ad hoc analysis to identify growth opportunities and support business case development.
- Support data governance and collaborate with data providers and analytics teams to ensure data quality.
Why You?
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, statistics, economics, data science or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in business insights, commercial analytics, forecasting or FP&A.
- Strong experience in forecasting, financial or demand modelling with proven accuracy improvements.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable presenting to senior leaders.
- Ability to translate technical analysis into simple, practical business recommendations.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences commercial teams.
- Knowledge of customer and digital analytics, including web and campaign performance metrics.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior analysts or small teams.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and modelling.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms or enterprise BI systems.
- Advanced degree or professional qualification in a relevant field.
Working Arrangement
This role is hybrid, based in Australia with regular time in the office and flexibility to work from home. You will meet with stakeholders across teams and locations when required.
