This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. A Business Innovation Intern will be responsible for supporting the company’s Product Strategy Teams. During the program our Interns will receive an orientation to the company and engage in challenging projects evolving around the rapidly changing healthcare industry. Interns are paired with industry professionals and mentors and will be given opportunities to stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding within technology.
How you will make an impact:
Support product innovation initiatives by conducting market, competitive, and consumer analysis to identify emerging opportunities in healthcare
Analyze consumer, technology, and investment trends to inform product strategy and innovation decisions
Validate consumer, buyer, and business needs through targeted research and data analysis
Use AI tools (e.g., generative AI, workflow agents, analytics assistants) to accelerate product research, synthesis, and decision‑making
Support design and testing of AI‑enabled workflows and agents that augment tasks such as research analysis, insight discovery, and summarization
Prepare presentations, summaries, and recommendations to communicate findings and support decision‑making with senior leaders
Gain hands‑on exposure to product strategy, innovation frameworks, and healthcare business models in a fast‑paced, learning‑oriented environment
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program (May 18th-August 7th).
Enrolled in an approved academic program in Business Strategy and Innovation, Business Data Analytics, or a related field of study.
Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
For the Veteran internship, candidates do not need to be students as military experience and training can be substituted for educational experience.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Knowledge and experience working with AI systems such as ChatGPT and Copilot.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
Excellent Critical thinking, data analysis, stakeholder management, business process management,
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a quick learner.
