Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Information & Implementation Analyst to support our payroll operations environment.

This role is critical in delivering accurate payroll-related insights, reporting, and system/process improvements that enable operational efficiency and informed decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring payroll data integrity and enhancing reporting and implementation capabilities within a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.

Are you someone who can:

  • Design, develop, and maintain payroll dashboards, reports, and management information.

  • Analyse payroll data to identify trends, risks, variances, and exceptions.

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Manage ad hoc reporting requests within defined service levels and governance frameworks.

  • Translate business requirements into reporting and data specifications for technical teams.

Process Improvement & Implementation

  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll reporting, data quality, and information flow.

  • Support system and process implementation initiatives within payroll operations.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through data-driven insights.

  • Enable cost efficiency and operational effectiveness through improved reporting solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, and Change teams to deliver aligned solutions.

  • Obtain stakeholder input, validation, and sign-off on reporting and process enhancements.

  • Ensure alignment with governance standards and service level agreements.

Risk & Governance

  • Monitor data integrity and highlight risks impacting payroll accuracy and delivery.

  • Escalate system or process issues affecting payroll operations.

  • Support compliance with data governance and reporting standards.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 4–5 years’ experience in:

    • Business intelligence / data analytics

    • Reporting and management information environments

    • Systems implementation or process improvement roles

  • Experience in payroll, finance, or high-volume transactional environments is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation capability

  • Advanced reporting skills (Excel, Power BI or similar tools advantageous)

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical/data solutions

  • Understanding of system-driven business processes and data controls
