The Role and Impact
As a Business Human Resources Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Intel's workforce strategy to drive business success and foster an environment where innovation thrives. By partnering with business leaders and leveraging your HR expertise, you will influence key talent decisions and deliver impactful solutions that align with business priorities. Your contributions will directly enhance organizational health, employee engagement, and the effectiveness of talent strategies, ensuring Intel remains an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with HR and business group's management to implement end of end HR initiative at the business unit / division/regional/country level, such as workforce demand planning, talent management etc. Engage with business groups in HR program delivery. Actively contributes to the culture of agility and innovation.

  • Contributes to development of company objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Leverages foundational organization capability principles and/or design components to improve individual, group and organizational functioning.

  • Partners with the business to drive workforce planning, business unit restructures, and succession planning, ensuring that core HR processes are applied appropriately and in a legally compliant manner. Regularly makes decisions that impact the attainment of project objectives and resources of employees.

  • Responsible for providing real time and strategic employee relations engagement and management through effective triage, stakeholder management, and thorough assessments using independent judgment.

  • Analyzes data and documentation to evaluate and influence employees and management regarding employee relations.

  • Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.

  • Japan Country Specific

  • Acts as the Country Business HR lead for Japan, providing end to end HR partnership to the Japan Site Manager and local leadership team

  • Leads and manages employee relations for Japan, including complex and sensitive cases requiring independent judgment

  • Partners with business leaders on workforce actions, organizational change, and people risk management within the Japan context

  • Interfaces with local labor authorities and supports labor inspections, inquiries, or mediation processes as required

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in human resources, Psychology, Business or any other related field, with at least 10 years of working experience.

  • Proficiency in HR programs and policies, employee relations, and employment law and regulations.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data using standard analytics tools to deliver actionable insights.

  • Strong expertise in talent management, talent development, and performance management processes.

  • Additional - Japan Specific

  • Hands on experience managing employee relations cases in Japan.

  • Working knowledge of Japan labor laws and employment regulations.

  • Business fluent Japanese (written and verbal) and working proficiency in English.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience in fostering positive employee relations and driving initiatives that enhance organizational health.

  • Deep understanding of business acumen, disciplined execution, and strategic HR interventions.

  • Additional - Japan Specific

  • Experience supporting Japan site leadership as a senior HR partner or country HR lead.

  • Experience engaging with Labor Standards Inspection Office or other local labor authorities preferred.

  • Strong judgment and cultural effectiveness in navigating sensitive employee relations matters in Japan.
