Revenue Operations and Marketing & Sales Center of Excellence (M&S CoE)
The LR Marketing & Sales Center of Excellence is part of the Wolters Kluwer Global RevOps organisation. The RevOps goal is to bring rigor, consistency, and scalability to revenue operations (including go-to-market strategy and all the underlying GTM processes, systems and metrics) while working closely with customer-facing teams to achieve maximum commercial performance. The priorities of the LR M&S CoE are determined by the Global RevOps organisation and by the LR Board.
LR Business G2M Technology Associate Director
Mission of the position is to drive performance by define and implement state of the art modern technology and dito processes for the LR Sales organisations and to drive customer self-service and efficiency through technology for our LR Service organisations. G2M Technology and processes need to function seamlessly with Marketing technology and Finance technology.
Determining the direction of G2M Technology adoption in LR Sales and Service, aligning on business priorities and defining programs and projects to execute on are core activities to the role. Important programs at this moment is the roll-out of Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud in EU, the roll-out of SFDC CPQ in selected business units and harmonize Sales technologies with a large focus on AI.
In addition, the Associate Director is responsible for and owner of the LR Sales & Service Technology landscape. In that role he/she will define what tools are needed to better enable Sales/Service and improve performance, select these together with the stakeholders, implement and evaluate.
The Associate Director G2M Technology reports to the LR Marketing and Sales Vice President. In this role there is a close collaboration within Global RevOps with other technology responsible managers, with GTS (the WK IT department), with the LR business unit sales and service leaders and with Procurement. The Associate Director G2M Technology represents the LR Division in global projects and drives global standards across LR.
In this role, you will be travelling approx. 20-30% of the time.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Holds primary responsibility for setting the strategy for Sales & Service technology within the LR division, incl. future landscape (in alignment with global RevOps), phasing, cost determination, approach, etc.
Coordinates technology strategic planning for VSP (multi-year strategy planning) and budget. Build cases how (harmonized and AI) technology will contribute to an improved performance of Sales and Service in LR.
Defines LR-wide projects needed for sales and service technology harmonization, projects to scale AI adoption to accelerate performance and initiatives for the optimization and harmonization of the tech landscape.
Develops clear roadmap to align priorities within RevOps and LR strategic business objectives. This includes business case creation, project dependency management, resource planning and stakeholder alignment.
Is responsible for leading sales and service technology projects and programs across Legal & Regulatory Division from a business perspective (leading from the technical side is done by GTS), including business program management and driving LR steerco meetings and decision making.
Oversees costs and drives costs improvements of sales and service technology spend in close collaboration with RevOps and procurement. Is responsible for budget keeping of sales & service technology projects.
Drives adoption of the system tech stack and coordinates best practice sharing. Is responsible for training program management for tech adoption to drive performance.
Defines how to deliver insights from technology that is used to deliver reporting and forecasting; and to drive insights and decision making.
Defines and organizes appropriate governance and organizational structure for the implementation and management of LR sales and service technology.
Continuously optimizes technology from a security and privacy perspective.
Operates as a linking pin for technology between RevOps, LR division, GTS and procurement, privacy and security department.
About You
Extensive program management skills and experience with complex project management, multi-functional team management, stakeholder alignment.
Preferably experience with driving performance optimization programs with the use of technology for Sales or Service teams.
Preferably in-depth experience in Salesforce tools.
Capable of driving decision making and serving as a senior advisor to management.
Experience in strategy, setting up and driving technology programs, including financials, budgeting, business case creation
Broad knowledge of sales & service technology, specifically SFDC and sales enablement related technologies
Knowledge of AI implementations and AI scaling in sales and service organizations. Experience with experimenting and translating to scalable solutions.
Experience in procurement processes and optimizing technology portfolios
Pragmatical problem solver, able to analyze complex issues and create fact-based recommendations
Capable of operating in a complex matrixed organization, networker and strong stakeholder manager. Experience with gaining informal leadership by operating with knowledge, persistence and using sophisticated communication skills for stakeholder alignment.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
