Overview
As a Business Functional Analyst within our Technology, Data and Innovation organization, you will partner with security, business, and technology teams to define and deliver enterprise wide Secrets Management capabilities. You will be an integral part of the Bank’s security and technology landscape, supporting the Chief Security Office and Identity & Access Management teams in protecting sensitive credentials used across critical platforms. By working closely with stakeholders to shape requirements, processes, and controls, you will enable secure machine to machine authentication and support the Bank’s digital transformation. What You’ll Do
You will shape how the Bank protects critical credentials by turning security, risk, and business needs into clear functional requirements for our central Secrets Management service
You will partner with application teams and platform engineers to make onboarding straightforward, repeatable, and scalable across cloud and on‑premise environments
You will strengthen audit readiness by helping define controls, documenting processes, and ensuring requirements, implementation, and evidence remain traceable and consistent
You will improve how we deliver by identifying gaps, reducing friction in adoption, and contributing practical ideas that inform the capability roadmap and priorities
You will connect people and outcomes by translating complex topics into simple decisions and actions that stakeholders can align on – and by keeping delivery focused on measurable results
You’ll help modernize security at scale – work that is visible, meaningful, and critical to the Bank’s future
Skills You’ll Need
Demonstrated experience in business or functional analysis for technology products or platforms in a regulated enterprise environment
Demonstrated ability to define and manage functional requirements, including documentation that supports delivery and governance
Working knowledge of identity and access controls and how credentials are used in machine‑to‑machine authentication (for example, service accounts and application credentials)
Demonstrated experience partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate technical needs into clear business outcomes and agreed priorities
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary, NC office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $153,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
