Job Summary: The incumbent serves as the Business Financial Analyst (BFA) for the United States Capitol Visitor Center (CVC) and provides expert level financial management, budget formulation and execution, and advisory services to senior leadership.

Qualifications: You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Candidates for this GS-13 position must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Serving as an agency’s principal advisor on budgetary matters and interpretation of policies, regulations, and laws related to the federal budget process; Utilizing principles, policies, regulations and procedures of budget/financial transactions to evaluate financial data and prepare a variety of reports; Monitoring obligations, expenditures, and payroll funding to identify trends and mitigate risk; Providing expert financial advisory services to managers or executives, including high level analyses and briefings; and Overseeing or analyzing non-appropriated or revolving funds, including revenue tracking, profit and loss analysis, internal controls, or contract financial oversight;
