As a Business Experience & Plan Specialist Sr - IT Financial Analyst within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.
The Business Experience & Plan Specialist Sr - IT Financial Analyst will be supporting the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) portfolio, responsible for operational budget management, headcount alignment, financial transparency, and funding governance across security initiatives. This role will partner closely with Technology, Accounting, and Finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and executive level visibility into spend and resource allocation.

Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the EIS operational budget, including tracking, forecasting, and year‑over‑year financial planning
- Partner with Accounting and Technology teams to ensure accurate headcount alignment, labor capitalization, and cost allocation
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial and security dashboards to support monthly accounting close and reconciliation processes
- Ensure all EIS projects are properly funded, monitored, and aligned to approved financial plans
- Coordinate with IT and Finance stakeholders to support investment approvals, including financial presentations, business cases, and governance documentation
- Track and manage headcount, labor dollars, and non‑labor spend, including changes in project scope and funding adjustments
- Provide ongoing forecasting and variance analysis, highlighting risks, trends, and optimization opportunities
- Support continuous improvement of financial processes using tools such as Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and Copilot
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong IT financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation
- Accounting or finance background (highly preferred), with solid understanding of operational and project‑based financials
- Advanced Excel skills, including accounting functions, formulas, and data analysis
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards for financial and operational reporting
- Proven ability to manage headcount and labor cost modeling in a technology environment
- Experience partnering with IT, Finance, and Accounting teams in a regulated or enterprise environment
- Proficiency with SharePoint and modern productivity tools (e.g., Copilot)
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to present financial information to non‑financial stakeholders
