We are seeking a dynamic and highly strategic leader with exceptional business execution acumen and communication skills to serve as a Business Execution & Communication Lead for Citi Wealth Marketing. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving the overarching Wealth Marketing strategy, translating vision into tangible outcomes. Beyond leading internal and executive communication efforts, this individual will proactively shape strategic narratives, define and optimize operational routines, and spearhead the development of impactful business cases. They will leverage analytical and strategic thinking to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and execute initiatives that significantly contribute to our business objectives.

This role requires a proactive individual who can foster transparency, drive employee engagement, and elevate the strategic impact of the marketing organization across Citi Wealth and the broader firm. The ideal candidate is a polished writer, confident collaborator, and incisive strategic thinker who can quickly distil complex information into concise, actionable narratives and robust execution plans. They must be comfortable navigating intricate business challenges, working with senior stakeholders, and able to uphold discretion and precision in high-visibility communications and strategic initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive Wealth Marketing Strategy & Execution: Actively contribute to the development and execution of the Wealth Marketing strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Strategic Communication Leadership: Lead and execute strategic internal and executive communications for the Global Head of Wealth Marketing and the broader team, including speaking points, emails, memos, and presentations.
  • Business Case Development: Create compelling and data-driven business cases for new programs, investments, and strategic initiatives, articulating clear objectives, expected returns, and resource requirements.
  • Routines Definition & Execution: Define, implement, and optimize core team routines, including staff meetings, Town Halls, offsites, and other employee engagement events, ensuring they are efficient and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Apply analytical and strategic thinking to identify key business challenges, develop innovative solutions, and oversee their implementation to drive measurable results.
  • High-Impact Presentation Building: Lead the development and delivery of strategic presentations for executive leadership, board meetings, and key stakeholder forums, translating complex data and strategies into clear, persuasive narratives.
  • Messaging Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive messaging strategies for key marketing initiatives, milestones, and organizational updates, ensuring consistency and strategic impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison to internal partners (e.g., Finance, HR, global communications team) and external agencies, coordinating efforts to achieve marketing and business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of combined experience in strategic business execution, project management, and executive or internal communications, preferably within a large corporate or financial environment.
  • Proven track record in driving business strategy, creating actionable plans, and delivering measurable results.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data and business problems into clear insights and effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building compelling business cases and delivering high-impact presentations to senior leadership.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills, capable of crafting clear, concise, and persuasive communications for diverse audiences.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders, including C-level executives, and navigating complex, matrixed environments.
  • Strong understanding of organizational dynamics, tone, and discretion, coupled with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
