Position Summary


You will lead business development and strategy efforts to drive sustainable commercial growth in Hong Kong. You will identify and shape strategic partnerships, lead deal execution, and work across functions to turn opportunities into impact. Responsibilities


This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Lead identification and assessment of commercial and strategic opportunities in Hong Kong and adjacent markets.

  • Build and manage relationships with partners, payers, distributors and other external stakeholders.

  • Lead end-to-end deal execution: commercial assessment, financial modelling, negotiation and contracting.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Medical, Legal, Finance, Supply, Brand, Market Access) during diligence and integration.

  • Develop clear business cases, presentations and recommendation papers for senior decision makers.

  • Mentor and coach colleagues to build capability and improve business development processes.


Why You?


Basic Qualification


We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, life sciences, economics or a related field.

  • At least 8 years’ experience in business development, corporate development, strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or commercial roles in healthcare or related industries.

  • Demonstrable track record of leading or significantly contributing to business development transactions, partnerships or commercial deals.

Strong commercial acumen, with experience in financial modelling and valuation.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin desirable.


Preferred Qualification


If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc or equivalent) or relevant professional qualification.

  • Experience with licensing, co-commercialisation, joint ventures or M&A in pharma, biotech or healthcare.

  • Knowledge of Hong Kong market dynamics, regulatory and reimbursement environment.

  • Established external network in industry, payers or distribution channels in the region.

  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and manage complex cross-functional projects.

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model with regular presence in the Hong Kong office and some flexibility for remote work.
