As a Business Development Representative at ACT Commodities in China, you play a crucial role in strengthening ACT’s commercial pipeline in APAC. The role focuses on timely engagement of marketing-generated leads, high-quality qualification, and improving collaboration between marketing and sales. This position ensures early-stage prospects receive consistent attention, enabling Account Managers (AMs) to focus on high-value and late-stage opportunities while maintaining a healthy flow of sales-ready leads.

 You will

  • Utilize our internal CRM system, cold call, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
  • Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs 
  • Respond promptly to all marketing-generated leads to maximize engagement windows and prevent pipeline stagnation.
  • Manage early-stage nurturing for all inbound/outbound leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and relationship building
  • Provide structured feedback to marketing on lead quality, trends, and market insights
  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure smooth lead transitions
  • Identify gaps in content, messaging, or campaign targeting based on real interactions with prospects.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and report on pipeline metrics

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or similar role
  • Highly motivated and organized individual who exhibits strong integrity, work ethics and ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Proficiency with CRM and prospecting tools (HubSpot, Apollo, etc.)
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and comfortable with high-volume outreach
  • Experience in SaaS, carbon markets, sustainability, or B2B solutions is a plus

工作要求

  • 1–3 年销售拓展、业务开发或相关岗位经验
    • 高度自驱且组织能力强,具备良好的职业操守、工作态度,并能承受一定压力
    • 具备良好的电话及邮件沟通能力
    • 熟练使用 CRM 及拓客工具(如 HubSpot、Apollo 等)
    • 自我激励、坚持不懈,能够适应高频外联
    • 有 SaaS、碳市场、可持续发展或 B2B 解决方案经验者优先
