The Role
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Representative to join the Data Sales team at Nasdaq in London. The successful candidate will play a meaningful role in the team by helping support the senior sales executives in servicing our clients throughout EMEA.
The Business Development Representative will help analyze customers’ data requirements and coordinate with senior sales executives to address business needs. In this role you will interact and help build strong customer relationships with internal and external clients.
What You’ll Do
Some of the responsibilities in the role include (but are not limited to)
- Supports Senior Sales Executives in identifying key areas of opportunities in the market within EMEA.
- Support the overall sales process to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives
- Responds to raised customer issues, resolving any client ambiguity.
- Develops a good understanding of industries, regulatory environments and markets.
- Assist in internal and external presentations.
- Work with existing and current clients to prevent unauthorized distribution of company data.
- Promote efficiencies across all tasks and workflow, participating in business improvement projects as necessary
What You’ll Bring
- An ambitious and driven professional with a few years of experience and at least a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
- Knowledge of and interest in the global financial markets
- Superb interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be organized and decisive while under pressure, when leading urgent and critical data feed and market data issues
- Great Teammate - able to interface/liaison effectively with a variety of technical/non-technical contributors throughout the organization
- Display a logical approach, critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the root cause(s) of a problem
- Outstanding experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong customer service skills
Nice To Have
- Are proficient with Microsoft Access
- Have experience with Salesforce
- Experience with Power BI/ Tableau
