What you’ll be doing:

Our APAC Business Development Representative (Korea) will lead the early-stage relationships with prospective customers. This position offers the opportunity for exposure to all facets of Sales and Marketing, with multiple layers of partnership across organizations, and endless career growth opportunities across the company. 

Reporting to the APAC BDR Manager, this role will be based in Singapore and covering the Korea market.

  • Managing inbound leads as well as executing outbound prospecting initiatives

  • Conducting discovery conversations with prospective customers, as well as target accounts

  • Having a strong work ethic: research, preparation, documentation, and tracking / reviewing performance are key to success

  • Building trusting and growth-focused relationships internally across your team and partners

  • Collaborating with Marketing to drive ROI on activities e.g. events, digital marketing, etc.

  • Collaborating with Sales to develop targeted marketing tactics against your target accounts.

 

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us:

  • 5+ years work experience in a professional environment

  • Prior industry experience in Business Development and/or Sales, especially in the SaaS industry and covering the Korea market.

  • Proficient in using Salesforce and Salesloft (or similar products)

  • Outbound experience with calling into Korean Enterprise is a must

  • Knowledge of sales methodology (e.g. MEDDPICC, BANT or similar)

  • Demonstrable strength in Korean language: Native level

  • Demonstrable strength in English Language: Business level
