Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Location: Remote/Hybrid
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated, curious, and eager to build a career in sales within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing teams and gain hands-on exposure to enterprise sales processes, tools, and strategies.
The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
Identify and research potential customers/prospects using various tools and data sources
Proactively reach out to prospects via email, phone, social media, and other channels
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria
Schedule meetings and hand over qualified opportunities to Account Executives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and sales engagement tools
Execute sales cadences and follow-up activities consistently
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to improve messaging and targeting
Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and qualification targets
Continuously learn about products, market trends, and customer needs
1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with senior stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Results-driven mindset with resilience and persistence
Basic experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude
Native German, Multilingual skills are a plus
Experience in B2B, SaaS, or technology sales
Familiarity with sales engagement tools (e.g. Salesloft, Salesforce, 6Sense, Lusha etc.)
Experience working with inbound and outbound lead generation
Knowledge of pipeline management and sales qualification frameworks
Account segments: Enterprise /SMB
Localize it for Central EMEA
Align it closely to Genesys language and tone
