Exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team in our Decision Advantage Business Area (part of the National Security Sector) as a BD Operations Analyst!
The Business Development Operations Analyst is responsible for BD data accuracy and reporting and action item management in support of day-to-day BD operations. This support includes ensuring all BD data accuracy in WinIt and reconciliations with contracts and finance, facilitating monthly Sector pipeline reviews, Closest-to-the-Pin updates, Wins and Losses tracking, consolidation and dissemination of weekly 5x15 reports, supporting establishment of charge numbers and IWOs, and coordination with the Sector power users to ensure all data for BD is accurate and actions are tracked and responded to. Additional duties will include monitoring web sites for opportunity updates and reporting search results to various organizations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in all Business Area planning activities, scheduling and facilitating BD presentations, to include pipeline reviews, gate reviews, weekly and monthly BD reporting.
Monitor the Business Area pipeline, submits and awards. Ensure opportunity data accuracy including ensuring exceptions are resolved quickly and coordinating with the Sector power users for their respective operations.
Ensure all BD-related actions are tracked and coordinated with appropriate owners for closure.
Implement and maintain data in the CRM tool and ensure the BD Operations team is maximizing use of the tool within Operations, such as development of dashboards, views, reports, etc.
Support the award reconciliation process. Manage the reconciliation process and assist the Business Area in their award reconciliation each period.
Manage the 5x15 Group Report. Collect inputs, develop the Business Area report and disseminate the report on a weekly basis.
Manage the overall IWO and Charge Number workflow process. Includes overseeing the B&P/Marketing charge numbers and IWOs.
Gather Closest to the Pin (CTTP) inputs from the Business Area and develop a CTTP for awards and submits.
Monitor classified and unclassified web site for opportunity updates, report on updates multiple times per day, maintain distribution list for updates, work with security to ensure any classified documents are controlled IAW Leidos and US Government procedures, work with security to release information as needed (including review of unclassified information and documents downloaded from classified web sites). Web sites include but are not limited to SAM.gov and NRO high and low ARCs (Acquisition Research Center) web site.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience OR HS Diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience.
Familiarization and proven experience in DoD / Intel Community organizations
Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office to present ideas, information, and reports and WinIt experience to track opportunities and manage pipeline.
U.S. Citizenship is required with Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
Ability to use MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and scanners
Ability to be 100% onsite in Chantilly, VA office.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven track record of successful Business Development and pipeline support
Knowledge and experience in the US Government's procurement process
Knowledge of Government Contractor’s proposal process and development
Experience in Business Development and/or Marketing
