Job Purpose
This role combines customer-facing business development and vendor/program ownership, ideal for markets where one BDM drives both growth and vendor success. You will lead the expansion of the Veeam portfolio, growing profitable market share through partners and key customers while acting as a trusted advisor internally and externally.
What You'll Do:
Own and grow Veeam business across assigned customers and partners
Drive profitable revenue growth aligned with the Business Unit strategy
Position and sell solutions and services, including consumption and TaaS models
Enable and support sales teams to increase share of wallet and win-rate
Lead complex deals, tenders, and strategic opportunities
Build strong, trusted relationships with vendors, partners, and internal teams
Identify new opportunities, initiatives, and routes to market
Collaborate closely with FSEs, sales, and vendor teams
Act as the go-to expert for the assigned vendor portfolio
In smaller markets, take on additional responsibilities such as category or program ownership
Support coaching, development, or people management activities where applicable
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a BDM or sales professional in IT / vendor-based environments
Strong knowledge of data protection, infrastructure or Veeam technologies
Solid understanding of the IT channel ecosystem (vendors, partners, competition)
Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and influencing skills
Customer-focused, proactive, and results-driven
Clear communicator with the ability to motivate and enable sales teams
Structured, data-driven approach to sales and pipeline management
High level of ownership, accountability, and self-management
Comfortable working with Excel, PowerPoint, CRM / ERP tools (SAP is a plus)
People management experience is a plus, not a requirement
Business or technology-related degree is an advantage
