Role and Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities include, but is not limited to:
E-commerce Platform Ownership
- Own end-to-end performance of assigned e-commerce platforms covering smartphones, tablets, wearables, and accessories.
- Drive GMV, sell-in, sell-out, ASP, and profitability in line with MX commercial objectives.
- Develop and execute platform-specific growth plans aligned with MX priorities and launch calendars.
Platform Partnership & Joint Planning
- Act as the primary interface between Samsung MX and platform counterparts.
- Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP), campaign negotiations, and quarterly business reviews.
- Secure platform investments, visibility, and commercial support within approved MX frameworks.
Commercial & Operational Execution
- Coordinate closely with MX Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage assortment planning, pricing alignment, promotion readiness, and stock allocation in collaboration with CPFR and supply teams.
- Ensure full compliance with Samsung governance, pricing policies, and platform regulations.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Monitor platform performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare executive-level performance updates, business reviews, and leadership readouts.
- Translate data insights into actionable strategies to improve traffic, conversion, and basket size.
Innovation & Capability Building
- Drive MX digital initiatives such as live commerce, creator/affiliate programs, and new platform tools.
- Test and scale new engagement and conversion models to strengthen Samsung’s leadership in mobile e-commerce.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have/be able to:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
- 3-6 years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, key account management, or business development
- Strong understanding of mobile category dynamics and online marketplace ecosystems
- Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Strategic thinking with execution discipline
- Excellent stakeholder and partner management
- Data-driven decision making
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Willing to work fully on-site at McKinley Hill, Taguig
