We’re looking for Business Development Manager: Strategic market developer who identifies new business opportunities and builds relationships to grow Aggreko's presence in untapped markets and customer segments across the Petrochemical, Refining, Fertilizer and Oil and Gas sector.

  • Identify and research new market opportunities and customer segments

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Create market entry strategies for new sectors or territories

  • Develop and present compelling business cases and proposals

  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and market intelligence

  • Develop expertise in specific technical solutions and applications

  • Work with engineering teams to adapt solutions for new markets

  • Translate technical benefits into clear business value

  • Pioneer innovative applications of Aggreko's technology

  • New market revenue targets and qualified pipeline creation

  • Strategic account penetration across multiple operational sites and business units within customer organizations

  • Accurate long-term pipeline development and forecast quality across extended approval cycles

  • Solution complexity and customization achievement demonstrating technical value creation in challenging environments

  • Relationship building success with target stakeholders

  • Proposal wins rates and deal margins on strategic opportunities

  • Market penetration and competitive wins

Location: Delhi preferable/Mumbai

What we're looking for:

  • Proven track record in business development or strategic sales with consistent target achievement (5+ years)

  • Background in oil & gas, energy services, or related industrial sectors with deep understanding of operational workflows

  • Experience managing extended sales cycles (6+ months) with multiple stakeholders across complex organizational structures

  • Success in opening new markets or building new business relationships

  • Experience with complex B2B sales cycles and proposal development

  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop compelling business cases

  • Experience building relationships with senior executives and C-level stakeholders

  • Success growing business and share of wallet within existing strategic accounts

  • Background in account management, consulting, or client-focused solution development

  • History of navigating complex stakeholder organizations

  • Technical background or strong technical aptitude with solution expertise

  • Experience in product development, technical sales, or application engineering

  • Background in technical industries with engineering collaboration experience

  • Success in finding new applications or markets for existing products
