Join us as a Business Development Manager and lead the charge in driving impactful go-to-market plans, creating value-driven solutions, and optimizing market performance!

The Business Development Manager drives global growth by shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy for key target markets. Collaborating with internal and external teams, they develop compelling value propositions, create business and launch plans, and track progress to optimize strategy based on performance metrics.

What You Will Do 

  • Build Market Insight:
    • Analyze customer personas (End Users, SIs, Contractors, Distributors) and key segments, identifying needs, behaviors, and pain points.
    • Use Voice of Customer techniques to gather insights on trends and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Conduct competitive analysis to understand market dynamics and provide strategic insights.
  • Develop Market Strategy:
    • Collect data to inform segmentation strategy and identify product gaps.
    • Advocate for solutions to address market gaps and contribute to value proposition development for target markets.
  • Craft Customer Value:
    • Lead the creation and execution of the value proposition and go-to-market strategy.
    • Develop market activation tools (messaging, content, and marketing materials) for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Position offerings effectively across target markets and regions.
  • Drive Growth:
    • Implement the go-to-market plan, driving market activation and revenue growth.
    • Collaborate with marketing to create promotions that increase sales through channel partners.
    • Identify and support channel/partner needs through tailored collateral, messaging, and engagement.
    • Develop new channels and optimize existing ones based on market segments, geography, and product mix.
  • Manage Offering Lifecycle:
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to align the strategy across Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and more.
    • Work with marketing to define objectives, metrics, and measure the effectiveness of go-to-market strategies.
    • Address execution challenges and underperformance with resolution and corrective plans.

What You Will Bring 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or marketing required; or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of degree. MBA strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years in business development.  
  • Business Acumen: Strong ability to build compelling business cases, backed by data and market insights.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional influencing and communication skills.

Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $130,000. This role qualifies for an incentive plan based on individual and company performance.
