Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, oversees and manages operational activities of Employee Onsite Care services and/or organizational initiatives and projects; assists the AVP in implementing and evaluating current practices to promote high-quality, cost- effective care; ensures focus and emphasis on enhancing patient, employer and staff satisfaction; and participates in the development of growth and business planning, and implements operational activities to support those planning efforts.
Employment Type: Full Time, 80 hours every 2 weeks
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required (Master’s preferred), 5+ years of experience in business development, human resources, corporate partnerships, or healthcare sales required, Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills required, Strong understanding of healthcare systems, health insurance benefits, and corporate wellness initiatives required.
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:
- Participates in the development of a staffing plan and hiring of administrative and clinical staff.
- Participates in the employee appraisal system that assures optimal workforce capabilities, training needs, timely feedback and effectively addresses employee problems and concerns.
- Maintains accurate and up to date employee files. Serves as a mentor and resource for staff.
- Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations by implementing and monitoring personnel policies and procedures to protect employees and the organization.
- Evaluates clinical needs and functions of services and staffs the program with appropriate level of clinical support.
PLANNING AND MARKETING:
- Participates with APP team members, hospital leadership and the marketing and communications team to develop a strategic plan that effectively positions the services and programs to maximize success, including an effective public relations program, community and referral source education plans.
- Develops a customer service strategy, reviews periodic surveys and recommends processes and procedures that meet or exceed the expectations of patients, staff, employers and the broader healthcare system.
- Participates in planning meetings with corporate leaders and benefit advisors to identify opportunities, needs and services that promote healthy workforces, cost-savings opportunities and collaboration that is mutually beneficial.
OPERATIONS:
- Oversees ongoing information systems needs to assure that functionality meets clinical needs. Collaborates with information systems to create and refine reporting capabilities. Shares outcomes of utilization patterns with key corporate leaders on a regular basis.
- Supervises onsite services including practice operations, material and supply acquisition, payroll, and lab and pharmacy coordination.
- Coordinates with primary and specialty care leadership to offer targeted educational and promotional events and activities for employees and teams in the community.
- Oversees the collaboration of department staff in the development of policies , procedures, programs, protocols and systems that will establish and improve the effectiveness and quality of patient care and employer experience.
- Collaborates with hospital facilities staff to periodically evaluate facility capabilities to meet the ongoing operational needs of the service.
- Evaluates and adjusts daily operations and provider/staff workload to meet patient and service needs.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT:
- Assists in the preparation and implementation of the budget including monitoring productivity, identifying and implementing cost improvement initiatives and variance reporting.
- Prepares periodic reports and performs regular assessment of financial performance to assure that practice financial and business development goals are met.
- Ensures that obligations to vendors and suppliers are met, establishes a system of checks and balances that minimize the risk of financial loss and ensure organizational integrity.
- Seeks out areas of business development to increase market share for programs and services.
- Ensures reporting and data submission activities are met for accreditation, regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Responsible for assisting with business development and capital requests. Supports operations leadership with implementation of new services; executes approved business plan.
