FalCom | Part of GN Group | Defence & Mission-Critical Communications
At FalCom, we build tactical communication solutions for moments when clarity truly matters. As part of the GN Group, we sit at the intersection of advanced technology, real-world operational needs, and high‑stakes defence environments. Our mission is demanding and meaningful: to make communication clearer, safer, and more effective when it matters most.
We are scaling up – and with scaling comes opportunity. We are now looking for a Business Development Manager for Northern Europe who is keen to build markets from the ground up, cultivate senior customer relationships, and turn complex deals into long-term partnerships.
If you thrive on ownership, momentum, and seeing your work translate directly into visible business impact, this could be the right next step for you.
The Team you will be part of
You will join our Sales team based at our HQ in Ballerup and report to FalCom’s Head of Sales. This is a fun, international, and collaborative team with a results-driven mindset.
As our Business Development Manager for Northern Europe, you will be a key commercial driver. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing a robust and qualified pipeline, developing strategic customer relationships, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships, primarily in business-to-government (B2G) context. You will need to operate with a high degree of ownership, consistent follow-through, and commercial rigor as you step into an environment that values momentum and accountability, working closely with customers, navigating complex deals, and helping shape our high‑growth business.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Own the region: Manage the commercial development of FalCom across Northern Europe with clear accountability for growth and pipeline quality.
Shape the go‑to‑market: Develop and execute a clear go‑to‑market and account plan for your region/segment.
Secure new business: Identify, qualify, and close new business with strategic customers and partners in the defence ecosystem.
Grow existing accounts: Expand existing relationships through cross‑sell, upsell, and multi‑year framework agreements.
Manage complex deals: Manage complex, multi‑stakeholder opportunities with structured opportunity management and disciplined follow‑up throughout the sales process.
Be the voice of the customer: Translate customer and partner insights into structured feedback for Product, Marketing, and R&D.
Create transparency: Responsible for forecasting, CRM accuracy, and deal documentation to ensure transparency and informed decision‑making across the organization.
Represent FalCom externally: Represent FalCom at customer meetings, events, trade shows, and industry forums.
Collaborate to create value: Work closely with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver on customer commitments.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
Experience in B2B sales, business development, or both
Demonstrated experience in sourcing, developing, and finalizing multi-stakeholder deals would be beneficial, though not mandatory
Clear commercial focus with a hunter mindset and the discipline to follow through
Ability to translate technical solutions into clear customer value and commercial business cases
Comfortable operating in a scale-up context: hands-on, entrepreneurial, and solution-oriented
Effective communication and presentation skills in English and at least one Nordic language.
Willingness to travel as required in the role (30%)
At GN we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible working whenever possible. We trust our people to fulfill their responsibilities, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it's needed most.
We encourage you to apply
Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.
We are focused on an inclusive recruitment process
All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. As such, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo to ensure an equal and fair application process.
Should you have any special requirements for the interview, please let the Hiring Manager know upon accepting the invitation to interview.
