Your key responsibilities.
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement specification sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.
Identify new market opportunities and establish a robust pipeline for heat pump installations by successfully delivering clear specifications that are representative in the positive end user experience.
Customer Relationship Management:
Develop and sustain strong connections with key collaborators which in include but not limited to developers and housing associations.
Provide expert consultation to clients regarding heat pump solutions and related services. This begins at
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Monitor and report on sales performance and market conditions to senior management.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless project execution.
Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to promote energy efficiency initiatives.
Training and Development:
Promote Samsung training and support to installers and contractors regarding heat pump technology and installation best practices.
Organize and participate in workshops, trade shows, and industry events to promote product offerings.
Support end user clients such as but not limited to housing developers and Social housing providers to enable the successful cascading of information to their teams and also end users.
Reporting and Forecasting:
Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and analysis to senior management.
Ensure accurate tracking of sales activities and pipeline management using CRM tools.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Strong understanding of the UK ASHP market, with particular focus on the residential sector, its challenges, and how to overcome them through a solutions-based, commercially realistic approach.
Solid technical understanding of ASHP systems, including system application, design considerations, and the steps required to deliver a successful project from specification through to installation and handover.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver CPDs and presentations at all levels, and to influence specifications using a consultative, value-led approach.
Proven skill in coordinating relationships internally and externally, aligning activity, timelines, and collaborator expectations to build and maintain a healthy specification pipeline.
Experience & background
Proven experience in specification-led business development or sales within the UK construction, building services, HVAC, or renewable energy sector.
Demonstrable experience engaging with developers, housing associations, consultants, M&E designers, contractors, and installers.
A strong track record of securing, managing, and converting specifications across the full project lifecycle (design, procurement, delivery).

Background / industry requirements
Experience within HVAC, building services, renewables, or low-carbon heating.
Direct exposure to the UK residential new-build or multi-residential market.
Direct experience with air source heat pumps.
Experience working for a manufacturer or specification-led organisation.
Exposure to social housing or large residential developers.
Hard skills & experience
Strong working knowledge of Future Homes Standard, SAP / HEM, PCDB, and MCS.
Experience delivering technical presentations and CPDs.
Ability to manage a specification pipeline from concept to order.
Confident use of CRM systems and forecasting tools.
Full UK driving licence.
Knowledge of connected energy systems (controls, monitoring, PV, battery).
Experience supporting large-scale residential developments.
Familiarity with retrofit vs new-build ASHP delivery models.

The number and value of live and secured specifications, and the strength and accuracy of the specification pipeline.
Conversion of specifications into orders and delivered projects.
Engagement levels with priority regional accounts and contribution to regional ASHP market growth.
Daily / weekly activity will include:
Targeted engagement with priority specifier accounts and management of live residential projects.
Delivery of CPDs and technical discussions to influence specifications.
Accurate CRM and pipeline reporting, working closely with internal teams to support project delivery.
