Team Global Express is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Adelaide to drive new business, build strong relationships, and deliver value across South Australia. This full-time permanent role is ideal for someone who loves prospecting, cold calling, and winning new logos in a fast-paced sales environment.
At TGE, you’ll help solve real transport and supply chain challenges while being part of a business investing heavily in sustainability, technology, and its people. You’ll join a collaborative, high-impact sales team with competitive salary, incentives, clear career pathways, and the chance to be part of a major transformation.
Identify, pursue, and win new-logo business across key sectors
Prospect actively (including cold calling) to uncover customer needs and match them with the right TGE solutions
Manage long-term sales cycles and convert high-value opportunities
Sell multichannel logistics solutions that deliver volume, revenue, and customer value
Lead presentations, pitches, and solution walkthroughs with senior stakeholders
Negotiate commercial terms and secure agreements that create mutual value
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and CRM discipline in Salesforce
Oversee customer onboarding to ensure smooth handover to Account Management
Proven success as a new-business hunter with the ability to meet and exceed targets
Confident selling to executives and senior stakeholders
Experience in freight, logistics, supply chain or government sectors (preferred but not essential)
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate complex deals
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, competitive environment
