Exiger is seeking a motivated and outgoing Business Development Intern to join our Commercial Sales organization for Summer 2026. Reporting to senior business development leaders and working closely with account executives and marketing partners, this intern will support early-stage sales activities, account research, and pipeline development for Exiger’s commercial business.
This is a full-time, paid internship designed for students interested in sales, business development, and go-to-market strategy within the software and technology industry. The role is based in New York City and follows a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration.

As a Business Development Intern, you will support the commercial sales team across a range of early-stage sales and pipeline development activities:
Conduct account and prospect research to support outbound and inbound sales efforts
Support inbound lead routing and qualification
Assist with preliminary outreach to inbound accounts
Shadow early-stage client engagements and sales calls to learn discovery and qualification techniques
Build GPT-powered account profiles to support account planning and personalization
Follow up with prospects and customers after marketing events and campaigns
Assist in building and improving sales assets, such as customer case studies, pitch decks, and enablement materials
Participate in all Level 1 sales training content to develop foundational sales skills
Collaborate with sales and marketing partners to support pipeline growth initiatives
Rising junior or senior currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
Strong interest in sales, business development, and customer-facing roles
Interest in the software and technology industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable engaging with new people and participating in conversations with customers and prospects
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive team
