Role Description:
The Manager will report to the Head of Business Development Finance and help develop thoughtful and rigorous financial models and critical analyses to assist in the evaluation and execution of (i) primarily external business development activities, including acquisitions, licenses, commercial arrangements, divestitures, minority investments, etc. and (ii) ad hoc internal strategic projects, including assessing the financial impact of new investments, evaluating new product and/or species opportunities, assessing implications of resource planning, etc. The output of these analyses will help advise and guide the senior leaders of Zoetis in key strategic and capital allocation decisions.
The required tactical and technical skillsets include: the ability to build and maintain complex valuation models, strong financial acumen with general understanding of accounting principles, experience evaluating a range of business models and identifying key areas of risk and financial due diligence. The preferred character traits include intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, enjoyment seeing the team succeed over the individual, comfort and agility operating on a project-by-project basis with no set calendarized workflow, and ability to work globally and cross-functionally while still being able to respectfully challenge others’ thoughts and assumptions.
This role interacts on a weekly basis with the Business Development Leads (those managing the deal process or internal projects), Legal, Technical Accounting, and Tax. On an ad-hoc basis the candidate will also interact with Global Strategy leads, Commercial Operators (both species and market specific), relevant R&D Experts, Manufacturing, and the Zoetis executive team.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000.00 - $151,000.00. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range
for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation
