GDIT is seeking a Business Development Director for the National Intelligence Sector (NIS) to support the identification, qualification, and pursuit of new business opportunities within the Intelligence Community. The qualified candidate will support business development and growth strategy and actions in support of the NIS business team. This candidate will assist the identification, qualification, and pursuit of new business and recompete opportunities. The successful candidate will leverage market experience and knowledge to develop customer-focused campaigns, create and execute customer and partner engagement plans, and provide thought leadership in the marketplace leading to the development and execution of GDIT go-to-market account plans.
This position provides an opportunity to join a vibrant, mission-focused, and well-positioned team to support expansion into new and adjacent markets as well as maximize GDIT’s reach within and support to core markets within the Intelligence Community. We are seeking industry professionals to join the NIS Growth Team who will prioritize collaboration and hold yourself accountable to deliver on promises, and well as contribute to improving efficiency, and challenge the status quo. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Business Development Director must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Required Skills and Abilities:
● Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph required
● US citizenship required
● Location: Hybrid, Primary office is in Herndon, VA. Local travel to customer and industry locations is expected and some travel outside of the area
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
● Experience within the Intelligence Community
● Experience working with OTA, BAAs and/or other rapid acquisition
● Proven program, contract, P&L or business leadership resulting in engaged teams, new business growth, and profitable and sustainable long-term business success
