The Business Development Director (BDD) is a senior sales and relationship professional who is accountable for prospecting and closing profitable new business on behalf of their assigned line of business, selling at the executive level of corporations in assigned market. This role supports the sales strategy as set by the Senior Director, Enterprise lead.As a Business Development Director
HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
Grow market share and exceed sales targets from existing lenders or net new lenders within RLS, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, exceeding our customer satisfaction rating objectives. Assist in uncovering and capitalizing on opportunities for new product distribution across all lender segments. Provide feedback to FCT stakeholders regarding the market to help contribute the organizational goals.
Grow business and exceed sales targets from clients or potential clients that are identified while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction to ensure we exceed in our customer satisfaction ratings
Assist in uncovering and capitalizing on opportunities for net new revenue for all RLS products and services, support all Enterprise Sales efforts as required
Work with broader Enterprise Sales team and Distribution leaders to develop sales strategy and continue to grow by participating in training, coaching and learning opportunities.
Manage expenses within budget & FCT’s guidelines
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
University degree from an accredited post-secondary institution in Legal or Business
Minimum 8 years of legal and/or commercial real estate experience
Aggressive business development experience in a business-to-business sales environment, ideally with experience in the residential lending space
Proven ability in building and maintaining successful client relationships
Confident ability to make sound business decisions and ensures best practices
Knowledge of purchasing and financing commercial real estate an asset
Proven sales experience with the ability to prospect, create leads and foster close account relationships.
Expert negotiation and insight sales skills
Good product knowledge of all FCT core products and services
Skilled at working cross-functionally with all key stakeholders to achieve customer satisfaction
Good understanding of the industry and customer profession.
Solid business acumen with sales and business development expertise.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade
Minimum 5 years of C-level corporate B2B sales experience
Experience with contract negotiation and RFP submission.
Expert knowledge of sales cycle and key account management.
An asset would be the knowledge of purchasing and financing real estate.
Total Direct Compensation:
145,900 - 195,500Any pay range is in $CAD. The stated pay range reflects the total expected compensation for this role (e.g., base pay plus any expected incentives or allowances, where applicable)
