To help us grow our reach across the UK, EMEA and North America, we’re looking for a Business Development Associate to prospect new business and write strong proposals at MindGym.

The role 

(1) generate your own sales pipeline and revenue, and (2) actively support Mind Gym’s Client Directors and other sales colleagues. 

You’ll be selling behavioral interventions that drive action in some of the largest companies in the world. You will identify new potential clients, lead smaller commercial opportunities, and get to work with our talented Client Directors to grow existing enterprise accounts. You will bring drive and tenacity in a high-performance culture.

Day to Day 

Supporting your Client Director and Practice (40%)

  • Work alongside your Client Director(s) to respond to client requests and develop opportunities in large multinational organisations (e.g. FTSE 350)
  • Secure new meetings for your team
  • Liaise with the internal teams to turn around in-bound sales leads for your industry segment
  • Account management follow-up, including seeking out new contacts within existing accounts to grow opportunities
  • Drive utilisation of marketing resources to ensure growth of awareness of MindGym

Generating and converting your own pipeline (60%)

  • Identify potential clients that have a business challenge that MindGym can help solve, and credibly represent MindGym’s point-of-view on important people challenges
  • Support MindGym’s strategic growth by identifying clients that fit with MindGym’s new product launches
  • Gathering all the information required for a successful client meeting, be those discovery and commercial or quarterly business reviews
  • Build solution presentations and commercial proposals
  • Utilise MindGym sales methodologies to qualify and prioritise your workload
  • Ensure all information delivered is relevant, accurate and timely, both to your clients and internal stakeholders
  • Utilise MindGym CRM, tools and framework to actively achieve your goals (SF, Gong, Cognism etc.)
  • Support other Practices on opportunities as needed due to capacity constraints
  • Support brand building by leading on Marketing-driven outreach in support of new Point of Views, events, etc.

You don’t need to be a behavioural scientist, but you do need to be passionate about selling something thoughtful and evidence-led.
