We are looking for a motivated intern to support the business development and wealth planning team. This is an exciting role opportunity with exposure to private banking, wealth planning and investments, amongst others.
The incumbent will provide support with the following aspects:
Wealth Planning & Business Development
Support Wealth Planning on presentations and client meeting preparation and follow-ups
Research on legal and tax developments in Switzerland mainly but also in foreign jurisdictions
Support coordination business development with Investment Banking, monitoring and reporting
Support merger & acquisition market intelligence on French-speaking part of Switzerland, monitoring and reporting
Dashboards and Reportings:
Help with KPI and Reporting: Assist in defining and reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) and management information for the Front Office and Investment teams.
Reporting and Dashboards: Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports, such as monthly summaries, pipeline reviews, and management presentations.
Support team with various presentation and ad-hoc analysis needs
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
High School degree, Bachelor or Master's in law, taxation, wealth planning (ingénierie patrimoniale) or related field (Swiss or French diploma). Training agreement is preferable
Previous similar experience is a plus ( wealth management or law and taxation internship )
Knowledge and interest in financial markets and private banking
Fluent communication skills in English and French (written and spoken). German is a plus
Proactive attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and reliability, flexibility, commitment and responsibility
Curiosity to learn, willingness to provide support to all members of the team. Excellent communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Avaloq and MIS, a plus.
